As we progress through 2025, it is crucial to take note of an important deadline that could significantly impact the financial standing of companies registered under the Qatar Financial Center (QFC) framework.

For entities under the QFC regime, audited financial statements for the period ending December 31, 2024, must be submitted to the Companies Registration Office (CRO).

Compliance Requirements:

      1. Audit Obligation:
Financial statements must be audited by a QFC-accredited auditor.

      2. Members’ Meeting
Company members must convene within four months following the close of the financial period (by April 30, 2025).

      3. Approval Process:
The board of directors must formally approve the audited financial statements.

      4. Filing Deadline:
The audited financial statements must be submitted to the CRO within 21 days of the members’ meeting.

      5. Tax Filing:
Tax filing dealing is 30 June 2025 for the companies that the accounting period ended 31 of December 2024

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in substantial financial penalties as outlined in Schedule 1 Contraventions of QFC rules and regulations.
